Canton Fair in Guangzhou
If you want to see the full range of China's imports and exports , then you should visit the 2013 Canton Fair China , the largest trade show in the world. Canton Fair has been attracting business tourists from all over the world for many years
An interesting fact is that in order to visit all the exhibition stands, giving each one no more than ten seconds, a person needs about two months to get acquainted. The gigantic areas of the exhibition halls amaze the imagination, the planned exposition of the future fair will be 1.2 million square meters. The range of exhibited products will number in the hundreds of thousands, both from the number of goods produced in China and goods that are launched around the world.
Guangzhou has been China's southern industrial capital for centuries. It was this factor that prompted the organization of the exhibition in the recent 1957. Since then, the Canton Export and Import Goods Fair has been held twice a year, in April and October.
Traditionally Canton Fair is held in three stages with a four-day break between each.
The 114th Canton Fair will be held in October 2013 , bringing together representatives from more than 200 countries. About 200,000 people are expected to visit the fair. According to experts, the planned volume of contracts may exceed a tenth of China's export turnover.
The exhibition will be opened in the state-of-the-art Pazhou Complex, 380 Yuejiangzhonglu Street. You can visit the complex using the following transportation:
1. Take the subway, station - Xingang Dong (exit to gate A).
2. Airbuses 137, 203, 206, 229, 262.
3. Order a taxi. The most profitable are the yellow cars of Baiyun Taxi Company, the light blue cars of the Guangjun Group Taxi Service and the brown cars of the Guangzhou Transportation Group.
4. Use transfers offered by hotels.
Anyone can visit any stage, depending on their interests.
Each stage lasts five days.
Stage I runs from 15 to 19 October 2013. At this time, products from the industries of electronics, large and small household appliances, laptops and computers, chemistry, goods related to construction, devices and equipment for lighting, spare parts for vehicles, electronic equipment, accessories, and tools are presented.
Stage II runs from 23 to 27 October 2013. At this time, an assortment of home decor and furniture, gifts and toys, everyday goods will be presented.
Stage IIIruns from 31 October to 04 November 2013. At this time, you can see a range of food industry equipment, medical equipment, pharmaceutical products, goods for sports and recreation, travel goods, stationery, suitcases and bags, fabric materials, clothes and shoes.
As the number of available hotel rooms drops steadily towards the start of the Canton Fair, you need to make sure you book your accommodation well in advance. It is recommended to organize temporary accommodation in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition venue. You should plan your individual route in advance, apply for a visa for individual use or for a group of visitors, book air tickets, make a hotel reservation.
At the end of the fair, it makes sense to organize an excursion program with visits to local attractions, the Great Wall of China, shopping or interesting places of recreation.
