Spain: resorts of the Costa Brava.

Spain: resorts of the Costa Brava.

On the Spanish coast of Costa Brava there are several beautiful Mediterranean resorts that are popular with tourists from all over the world. It should be noted that holidays on the coast are cheaper than in other resorts in Spain, so many of our compatriots come here. In our material, we will talk about several popular resort towns of this famous Mediterranean coast of Spain.

We recommend that fans of family and relaxing holidays go to one of the oldest Spanish cities - Blanes. The heart of the resort life of the city is the three-kilometer long Sa Abanell beach. On the largest beach of Blanes, covered with golden sand, you can not only sunbathe and swim, but go on a boat trip or go surfing. In addition, the beach has volleyball courts and water slides. There are also children's playgrounds on Sa Abanell, so it will be comfortable for vacationers with children. The only drawback of the beach is the presence of jellyfish.

San Francesc Beach attracts lovers of the underwater world. In coastal waters, you can admire octopuses, colorful fish and beautiful marine plants of incredible colors. San Francesc Beach is ideal for families with children due to the gentle entrance to the sea. While traveling along a narrow path located in the southern part of the beach, you can admire the most beautiful sea panorama.
The smallest beach in Blanes is Santa Anna with a length of 75 m. Rest on this beach is suitable for admirers of seascapes, since there is no entertainment here. On Santa Anna you can admire the picturesque coves and bays and sunbathe topless.

L'Estartit resort is a paradise for diving, kitesurfing and windsurfing lovers. The picturesque Pale Bay, located in a protected area, is great for family holidays and water sports, so it is very crowded during the summer months. And this bay is also famous for its amazing healing air, saturated with pine and flower aromas.

Near the town of La Escala, surrounded by steep cliffs and trees, is the Cala Montgo beach, where you can swim and make a water trip in a kayak. The beach can be reached on foot along one of the paths, passing steep cliffs and eucalyptus groves.

The calmest resort on the Costa Brava is Tossa de Mar. Fans of diving, snorkeling and water travel can have a great rest on the central beach of the resort, covered with fine and dark sand. For a family holiday, Mar Menuda beach, or rather, its northern part, is more suitable. Kodorar Beach is distinguished by its convenient entry into the sea and the absence of annoying traders, but it is not easy to get to it: you have to overcome steep slopes.
