Why is it better to relax in Turkey

Turkish resorts are well-deservedly popular with those who want to relax on the beach and sunbathe under the warm Mediterranean sun. Turkey was the first country that relied on family vacations and did not fail - if the question arises of where to relax with children, most of our compatriots choose a seaside vacation in Turkey. The holiday season there, as you know, lasts from May to October and many cannot decide on the date of the trip.

When is the best time to relax in Turkey during the summer holidays.

May, whatever one may say, is still a spring month and the sea has not yet warmed up enough. This is the time for those who love a relaxing holiday without the scorching sun or are really hungry for sea beaches after the winter cold. By mid-May, the air warms up to about 20-25 degrees, and the water in the beach area to 19-20 degrees. It is on these dates that the holiday season officially opens, as the vast majority of hotels and entertainment complexes open their doors to tourists.

Gradually, the water in the sea warms up more and more and at the beginning of June you can already enjoy the warm and gentle surf of the Mediterranean Sea. In the meantime, the flow of tourists begins to increase significantly, hotel rooms and air tickets are being booked. Many come with children - the developed infrastructure provides all the amenities for this. The sun is already rising high enough and the threat of sunburn and heat stroke is increasing. The air temperature reaches 30 degrees, water up to 24.

The peak load in terms of the number of vacationers occurs in July, despite the popular belief that this is not the best time to relax at sea . There are good reasons to disagree with this. The huge number of arrivals causes certain difficulties and confusion. Queues, hustle and bustle are possible. The sun is at its zenith. Peak heat. Twenty minutes at noon in direct sunlight may well be enough to get enough severe burns, so it is recommended to sunbathe before 11 am and after 5 pm.

August vigorously takes on the hot baton from July - the water temperature in the sea reaches 29 degrees, and the air heats up to 30 degrees and above. From mid-August, a decline in tourists begins - schoolchildren and students need to prepare for their studies. During this period, a significant proportion of tourists are adults.

At the end of August, the velvet season begins in Turkey ...

At the end of August, the velvet season begins in Turkey, which lasts until the end of September. The attraction of this period is undeniable - it is no longer as hot as in July or August, and the sea is surprisingly warm and pleasant. You can relax on the beach from morning to evening. the sun is not as hot and the risk of burns is much lower. Most of the tourists have already gone home and peace settles on the beaches.

For people who can't stand the heat well, October is the perfect time to visit Turkey. The swimming season is already over, the water in the sea is already cool, the weather is even and mild. You can safely take a walk without fear of the scorching rays of the sun. There are practically no vacationers, crowds, noise, queues have disappeared.

Despite the end of the beach season, a certain number of vacationers come in late autumn and winter, so it’s impossible to talk about the complete closure of resorts in Turkey.
