Norwegian Getaway was launched
This exciting vessel was built by Meyer Werft in record time.
It took just 12 months to create this stunning 4,000-passenger vessel , which features 27 bars and restaurants, three decks of daytime and evening entertainment, and Broadway musical productions.
The ships of the Norwegian Cruise Line have a characteristic feature - artistic images on the hull of the vessel. And Getaway is no exception. On board is a mermaid holding the sun above the waves. The artwork on the ship's hull was designed by Miami-based artist David "LEBO" Le Batars.
Norwegian Getaway is equipped with the Illusionarium, a completely new kind of entertainment that combines restaurant services and world-class special effects!
On all Norwegian Cruises ships, special attention is paid to children. They have a great chance to spend time with Nickelodeon Heroes . Sponge Bob, Patrick, Dasha the Traveler, Diego and others will entertain the kids on board the liner. There is also a three-level sports complex with five slides and a rope park.
Following inaugural celebrations in Europe, New York and Miami, the Norwegian Getaway will cruise the Eastern Caribbean weekly from the Port of Miami starting February 8, 2014.
