Places to visit in 2014 Elba, Germany and Czech Republic
Stretching from the Czech city with the romantic name Vrchljaby to the North Sea, the Elbe is an important European river for some and one of the longest cycling routes in Europe.
A straight and level river promenade leads past
Saxon Switzerland - beautiful and very geometrically regular mountains;
Dresden - the baroque capital of Europe, where a wonderful museum of wars has recently opened - from Roman times to World War II;
Wittemberg - the birthplace of Lutheranism, the history of which leads to inspiring, as well as sad thoughts about the role of the church in modern politics;
and finally leads to Hamburg - a city of anarchists, immigrants, port prostitutes and rock music: from the Beatles to the exemplary non-politically correct "Hamburg lyrical" group Hummingbird.
I want to ride this entire route not on a bike, but on roller skates, but so far it has not worked out. If anyone is going to - tell me if it's real.
