New Rules for Liquids in Hand Luggage

New Rules for Liquids in Hand Luggage

From January 31, 2014, the EU changes the rules for carrying liquids in hand luggage.
From now on, all passengers will be required to present liquids for control in a separate transparent bag. If a passenger forgets some liquid in the bag, it will be sent for examination using a special device if it is found during the scan. This rule applies to medicines and baby food.

Any liquids purchased from Duty Free at airports outside the EU, US, Canada, Malaysia and Singapore after January 31 will also be subject to technical screening.
