My friend and I have a tradition of spending holidays together. We have been following it for three years now. And this time we decided to stick to the passed scheme. It was spring, but we decided to think over our vacation in advance. We thought for a long time and could not decide on the direction. But since finances sing romances, we decided to go to rest in Turkey .
Before that, we redrawn the entire "Russian and Ukrainian south", we were in many foreign countries, but to our shame, we never took a break in Turkey .
As soon as we chose a place, we immediately went straight to the travel agency. We chose a well-known travel agency, as we believe that it is safer and less likely to run into a scam. After all, the old wisdom is still alive - the miser pays twice. In the office we were served by a very polite and even friendly girl, and this, unfortunately, is a rarity. And when our girlfriend asked for a more detailed direction, we were confused. But the truth is, we have decided on the country, but have not chosen the resort town itself. But the employee was not at a loss and, as if in the palm of her hand, offered several resorts to choose from.
We stopped at the capital. Turkey is a foreign country for us, it has its own customs and laws. The capital seemed to all three of us more Europeanized and we chose Ankara.
Time flew by quickly and imperceptibly as always. We took tickets for the flight specially in the morning, as we were pleased with the prospect that in the evening we would be walking barefoot along the seashore. The flight went well, but still my friend Jackdaw got excited and reminded me of all the plane crashes over the next two years. Our vacation began immediately after getting off the plane. We were met by a guide from our hotel and this, of course, immediately cheered us up.
We took the bus to the hotel for a short time. We have already seen it on the monitor in the office, but seeing it live is a completely different matter. Palace in one word. We immediately realized that we were lucky. The rooms surprisingly also pleased us: snow-white mattresses, with a view from the window to the sea and many more pleasant little things. We took five-star rooms (a bit overpaid), but not a bit sorry.
During the rest, we went on various excursions, visited the famous Turkish market and, of course, like everyone else, we tried oriental sweets. The hot sun pleasantly caressed our bodies, while the sea, on the contrary, refreshed and cooled us with its gentle bursts of waves. Even the air in this country was sweet. We will never forget all this. We just don’t understand why people say that Turkey is a bad and uncomfortable resort?
Yes, I do not argue there were minor trifles and tiny troubles, but this in no way spoiled our holiday. When you go on vacation to another country, you should not forget that we are their guests, and not vice versa. You need to adapt to their living conditions, to the contingent, and in general to everything that concerns you. It is necessary not to inflate an elephant out of a fly on trifles. Do not spoil your vacation, do not think about those minor troubles that occur throughout the trip. Look for the positives and enjoy them to the fullest.
