The island is washed by two seas at once - in the northwest the Aegean and in the southeast the Mediterranean .

The swimming season here lasts from May to October.
The southernmost point of the island - Prasonisi - is the meeting point of two seas, or as it is also called "kiss of two seas". On one side is the calm, dark blue Mediterranean Sea, and on the other, the restless turquoise Aegean.

Faliraki is one of the most famous tourist centers of Rhodes and a popular resort among young people. Daytime Faliraki is a calm, not crowded village, and evening Faliraki is a huge open-air nightclub. Faliraki has many restaurants, bars, discos, taverns and shops.

Conditions for practicing popular water sports have been created. For golf lovers there is a large golf club. The only water park on the island of Rhodes is located here. It is divided into three sectors: in one there are various water slides, in the second - a huge pool with an artificial wave, the third sector - entirely for children, with water labyrinths and pools.
